Rag Rug History: A rag rug is woven in a loom of elements of carpet rags and warp such as cotton or linen thread, or simply cut up rags. Plain weave and twill are the usual weaving techniques and stitching yarn floats that provide reversible rugs where the back is reversed towards the front.
